COURSE INTRODUCTION
Principles of Democracy is a senior government course. This course will offer the student an overview of the fundamental constitutional principles of the United States Government. This course of study will provide a systematic set of guidelines that will insure that each student will have an opportunity to explore the content and meaning of America's constitutional form of government. This course is designed to acquaint the student with the developments and growth of the American political and economic system.
INSTRUCTIONAL PHILOSOPHY
This course Principles of Democracy is intended to imbue the students with pride in and appreciation for American Freedom, the ideals of the Constitution and Bill of Rights, the techniques of Political Parties and Pressure Groups, and the distribution of power within the various Local, State and Federal Governments in these United States.
