Why another teaching resource on the web?

The purpose of Tulip Academy is to provide not only a Christian perspective but also a traditional, classical and liberal arts approach to the understanding of what it means to be civilized within the Western Tradition. To that end, we have chosen links and provided materials for the use of parents, students and scholars who seek to search the essential truths of "being" underscored in the ancient and even contemporary texts which are available on the web. Due to the limits of personal knowledge, interests and time available to the task, please understand that this site is not comprehensive, but only selective in scope. The educational level of our materials will be for serious parents, and students who have completed their elementary studies. 

You will not find a relativistic, naturalistic, humanistic nor modernist approach to education here!

If you live in the Columbus or Central Ohio area, we would like to hear from you to learn how we may be of further service.  As of the winter "quarter" of 2004, we are offering several seven week courses as well as a couple of specialized seminars.  Please feel free to email us for details.  We have a phone at the church, but only can check the answering machine a couple times per week.

My credentials include a B.A. from ONU, M/Div from UDTS and an Ohio teaching certification in Comprehensive Social Studies, English and Social Psychology for whatever those are worth?

Note:  We are always willing to approve any public or private schools that use any part of our endeavor for their own curriculum.  However, if you are being charged for access to our materials without our permission, we would like to know about it.

Now that the copyright owner has determined to feminize any future translations of this once fine work - We can no longer recommend the translation
.  Neither do we have the time to go back and rewrite hundreds of sermons & articles where we had once gladly used the 1984 NIV.
